Looking for a summer job that's fun and rewarding?
Southern Rockies Camp is the place for you!
COME BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL IN THE BEAUTIFUL SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS OF NEW MEXICO!
You have the opportunity to impact countless lives and share the love of Christ with kids. Our camp is located in the heavily wooded forest of the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico. High in the mountains with an elevation of 8,200-ft., wildlife abounds and the air and spring water make for a perfect summer camp experience.
Can you see yourself spending your summer with young people running and playing, shouting, squealing and laughing as they play games, work on crafts, ride a “zip-line” through the trees and race on trails? They design rockets out of one and three liter soda bottles and shoot the rockets filled with pressurized water far into the air to the delight of the designer and observer. Archers go off to conquer the bull’s eye, or the hikers go out to maneuver the trails made by wildlife. Campers climb, hike and become one with the animals on the trail as they learn the flora and fauna of the Sacramento Mountains.
We are looking for young men and women with a committed faith in Jesus Christ who have a desire to work in the great outdoors Staff positions can be challenging but will provide tremendous growth on both a personal and spiritual level. We will train you, encourage you and work right along side of you. We are looking for role models – wholesome and genuine leaders with a passion for guiding youth, an appreciation for God’s creation, and high expectations of themselves and what they can offer. Staff that want to change the world – one young person at a time and staff that is willing to work hard so we can all play hard.
We are looking for staff in the following areas and we love to utilize your strongest gifts, but ask that all staff serve unselfishly, no matter what. We are a team and our daily responsibilities will depend on the needs that day. On any day you could be asked to assist in the kitchen, on the ropes course, cleaning toilets, counseling youth, leading worship and much more.
