Brothers and Sisters in Christ Greetings,

 Today we find ourselves in a world we hardly recognize. It is changing at a rate unprecedented in history. A world full of anger and confusion. A world in need of Christ in a real and a living way.  We see God stirring in the hearts of people around the world and thankfully here in our own country. We are seeing great revivals springing up among our young people in colleges across the nation. We thank God for His outpouring! However, with this outpouring we find a challenge. Jesus speaks of it in the parable of the sower in Mark 4:5-6 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. We do not want revival to fade away for lack of root. Discipleship breaks up the stony ground of our heart. Jesus walked with His disciples for 3-1/2 years. He dealt with their hearts in a very deliberate way. He deals with us in the same way today. God is calling us to no less than He called the early disciples to. He is calling us to make disciples of all nations, starting in our own Jerusalem, our own Judea and to the uttermost parts of the earth. The Lord has laid on my heart a model that was His own. It’s called Immersion Discipleship. We are calling our training program Love’s Bootcamp.

 Immersion discipleship is a way of life. It is the style of discipleship that Jesus used with His 12 disciples in His earthly ministry. It is a way of learning not only the teachings of someone in a scholarly setting, but it is a way of learning a lifestyle. It teaches someone to live the life of another, namely Christ. Any point in time can be used as a teachable moment, not just in the classroom. We see this all throughout the gospels in the life of Christ as well as the whole of scripture. This is the premise for immersive discipleship, to live with, to grow with and to learn with other believers in a condensed setting. Our structure will consist of 3 weeks of intense schooling with a Spirit designed curriculum. The School of Christ by B.H. Clendennon designed to teach Christ and Him crucified. Classes will be held 7 days a week each day and will be filled with prayer and school. It is purposely designed to be an intense experience, like a bootcamp, in order that any person who completes the course will have allowed the Lord time to so baptize and consume them that they go out filled with His Spirit and ready to fulfill their part of the Great Commission. We will live together, eat together and worship together just as Jesus did with His disciples. We don’t have three and a half years but I believe the Lord is doing a quick work in our days. And as we see revival break out we must be ready to train and disciple believers. To establish them as Paul said in Ephesians 3:17-19That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

John Wesley said, “Give me 100 men who hate nothing but sin and love God with all their hearts and I will shake the world for Christ!”

 

 My prayer is to facilitate a place to train and equip such men and women that they shake this present world for Christ. Please prayerfully consider who in your life and ministry might benefit from such an experience. And consider sponsoring their tuition for this camp.
